My Actions

The School of Computing’s Makerspace, equipped with a wide variety of machines and development equipment. It supports new kinds of innovative teaching and learning by taking advantage of the increasing accessibility of electronics and engineering with a rapid prototyping capability. Students and staff of the School can use The Shed not only to build physical devices for taught modules, but also to support and develop their own personal interests and hobbies.

Co-working desk space along with the "Makervault", which is a converted bank vault set up for experimentation and prototyping. 3D printer, sewing machine and other tools available.

Makerspace

A non-profit, social community workshop. It's for knitting, welding, woodwork, sculpture, programming, photography, 3D printing etc. etc. If you want to make it, we've got the space. All members have a say in how the space is run, and get full access to the space and all its facilities.
